This game seems simple but it's deceptive! You can play againist others or againist the game boy and it's addictive. If you like puzzles and stategy games this is the game for you! I would recommened it for adults more than kids as it's a thinking game with simple graphics, no cartoons or action sequences.

I was looking for a game that would be better than Tetris, and boy did I find it. This is the most excellent game I have gotten my hands across. And you can get it here on Amazon.com for a good price. It's a very addictive game that I can't put down. And everyone at my job is addicted to it. Not, only you play against the computer which has an intelligent AI, you can also play a good challenging game against your friends with one machine(gameboy). If you miss out on this game you're missing out on a good strategy game. Untill, this day I am so glad that I bought it. Hexcite comes with a tutorial, to show you how to play it. People I garauntee you this is an awesome game. So check it out. You won't be sorry. This is more for an adult to play but young kids can also learn to enjoy this game. It's more like a game of perfection with a twist to it.

I got this as a present last Christmas, it's a game I'd never heard of. I was instantly addicted. I especially enjoy the Level Game play, where it records your progress and gradually makes the game harder. You can customize your play - how many rounds per game, whether you want to use the timer, etc. The only thing that is aggravating is that when playing against the computer sometimes the computer takes a long time to decide on a move if you don't use the timer. Anyone who likes strategy games such as tetris has to try this one. I enjoy tetris too, but this is even better.

This is one game I can not put down. It is worth your while to read the instructions and play the tutorial if you have never played before. There are no monsters to shoot, so I don't think the kids will like it. But, if you are an adult stuck in the airport then you can easily kill hours. A must buy.

This is a fun but mind stimulating game that makes you think about how you can outwit your opponent even if its the computer!! My children and I like to take it with us everywhere.

This game is a must have for anyone who likes classic strategy games like reversi, checkers, and even chess. Turn based gameplay creates a clear set of strategies for opening, midgame, and endgame phases. The AI seems quite good too with the lower levels playable for newbies, and the higher levels challenging. This game rarely leaves my Gameboy.

Don't buy this game if you don't have time to be addicted. The more you play it the better you get so the more you play it and the better you get... The better you get at the strategy the more fun you have. I am always on the lookout for a great puzzle game and this one is it. I have to end this now Hexcite is calling me.

This is an addictive game with a lot of replay value. It does become easy to master; the strategies used by the game console's top AI level become predictable, and it makes blunders during the end games. Nevertheless, a unique game, and lots of fun for older players.

Hexcite is a very challenging and enjoyable game. It's you VS the computer or link up and challenge your friends in a game of Hexcite. It's all about matching shapes in the correct spaces. And you receive points for matching shapes. It's a time killer and will keep you wanting to play more. Buy it and see for your self. I recommend it.

If you can pick this up cheap, and you have either a Game Boy Advance or Gameboy Color, get it. Its a fairly clever puzzle game similar to those tile puzzles many of us had as kids where you had to drop geometric shapes into a frame. Certain shapes block other shapes from being dropped, and points are awarded for filling spaces and deducted for left over tiles. The computer opponent is hard (perhaps too hard... which is why I only gave 4 stars) and occasionally takes too long to move. But the game is fun, and yet elegantly simple, at the same time.
