4.0 out of 5 stars Great!!! Sophmore album
Hexes For Exes Is one of my top buys of this year. Moving Units first album was more Funk and Disco. While Hex is more Electro. The sound of the album is Joy Division's "Love will Tear Us Apart" with a Blend of Interpol's "Obstacle one," and a bit Of Justices "D.A.N.C.E." Sprinkled on Top. Good mix and it will get you ready to dance in No Time. So Stop thinking about...

2.0 out of 5 stars When U2 meets Duran Duran meets Depeche Mode
I was suggested this CD after listening and rating the last We Are Wolves CD. But that's really all. This album sounds highly slick produced and a breed between U2 and Depeche Mode with a little Duran Duran in the mix as well. And I don't like those bands. We Are Wolves is much more interesting than this.

5.0 out of 5 stars In Constant Rotation, December 4, 2008
This review is from: Hexes for Exes (Audio CD)
Excellent Album.
Having had this album for nearly a year now, it remains in heavy play for me. Looking forward to more from this band. They've picked up the fallen banner of Joy Division and I hope they carry it far. Having enjoyed the Editors and She Wants Revenge, I gave this album a try and it's come out on top. Skipping right over the boring cardboard taste of 90's & early 2k drivel of coldplay & their clones, Moving Units pulls from the best of 80's dark wave and recreates it into something fuller. Just buy it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Post punk perfection, February 1, 2008
This review is from: Hexes for Exes (Audio CD)
I agree with the other reviewer that mentioned similarities to Joy Division's "Love will tear us apart". Definitely got the 80's new wave and post-punk in there. Good album. Buy it.
