Our 9 year old son, a baseball fanatic, has thanked us repeatedly for buying him this book. He has read it several times & has loaned it, albeit reluctantly, to a fellow teammate who has since received his own copy. Being in the education field, my husband & I are always searching for books that will inspire a child to read & take ownership of a favorite book, hoping to instill a love of reading within that child. So, if your child, grandchild, neice/nephew, student, etc. likes baseball, this might open new doors for them as well.
