5.0 out of 5 stars Dance Music at its Finest
What can i say...the Chemicals have outdone themselves again! I feel all weird saying this cause i'm not from England, but i have to say it anyways. The Chemical Brothers music is just the best. "Surrender" is definitely one of my top five albums this year...maybe top three cause it's so good. Too early to tell, but this single is an excellent representation...

4.0 out of 5 stars A "flashback" to big beats and blasting bass, June 4, 2000
By A Customer
Already owning "Surrender," I bought this CD for the B-sides and was pleasantly surprised. "Flashback" is a super tour-de-force a la "Loops of Fury," and it alone made the disc worth every penny. "Scale" was a little dissappointing, based around cheap-sounding, gimmicky synth scales, but it holds up well enough. A good buy for any Chem Bros fan.

"Surrender" is definitely one of my top five albums this year...maybe top three cause it's so good. Too early to tell, but this single is an excellent representation of the Chemical's groove. It's a hard groove to get out of once you're stuck in it, but it's also a sweet groove. Buy the single and if u like it, buy the album cause the album is fabulous!

5.0 out of 5 stars Too cool for words (But I will try), October 22, 1999
I defy anyone to come up with a cooler song than "Flashback" It is quite possibly the best b-side ever recorded.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ahh, the summer of '99, April 18, 2002
This song reminds me of watching Rage in the late-summer of '99 with my brother, this was the first Chemical Brothers song I ever heard, and I only liked it because of the great movie clip. After hearing Surrender, which held other great tracks like 'Let Forever Be' and 'The Sunshines Underground' this is what made me come to love the work of the D.Jing duo, the Chemical Brothers. This single is great and I recommend this single way more than the album, because the album only has a few good tracks and it's not worth forking out money for an album when you can buy the best track for 1/3 of the price

when i first heard this song i was chocked,i never could imagine that a song could sound this good!It has a new beat that goes into your blood system and it keeps beating by itself long after the song ended,it's almost as if you are gettin dependent of it,you must listen to it several times a day,so all i can say moore is that the people who has'nt bought this single yet, they don't now what they are missing BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Brothers Rock !, June 3, 1999
By A Customer
I did not realise that so many other people liked the Chemical Brothers, i agree with everything that haas been written before me and i am glad that the Brothers have got a following over in the USA. The single totally kicks arse, the album is going to be simply awesome. These guys really put all other dance acts to shame, i have bought everything they have released so far, so i must have almost 15 CD's of theirs, and to know that they are still grinding out the best dance tracks 7 years after they started up. Well done you guys.

5.0 out of 5 stars forget Star Wars, I can't wait to Surrender, May 30, 1999
By A Customer
I am so tired of listening to "Hey Boy, Hey Girl" on RealAudio format, as awesome as it is... I wish US releases were as early as Europe's... But I will have my copy ASAP: it pays to know record store associates...
