About the Author

Jim Hughes has been a police officer for over 20 years. He also participates in his local youth baseball league, both as a board member and coach.

Nick Hughes is an eleventh grader in New Hampshire. In addition to playing for the high school team, Nick played for the New Hampshire Grizzlies AAU baseball team during the 2002 season and represented the United States as a sports ambassador in Australia during the 2003 "People to People" games".
