My 11 year old daughter loves this pen, and it writes smooth and nicely. The sound quality of the recording gives off clear and well, however, it did start to lag on and off (you'd have to wait a while before hearing the recording after pressing/playing repetitively) about a day after receiving it. But, I guess one can expect that if it is pressed so excitedly over and over. Prompt shipping, and agreeable price -- I recommend this item, and the seller.
