I love the album Hey Jude in my opinon its one of the best beatles albums which makes me wonder why they didnt include it in the 2009 remaster i know the songs are all there but you lose the whole album feel. in all its a wounderful album. it does have a bit more of a greatest hits feel than a complete album but the songs hey jude, lady madana, and reveloution make the album more than worth while alone. like i said i think its a great album and suggest it to anyone.

Allen Klein's Masterpiece,
By Dave "Fever Tree" Sigmon (Connecticut, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Hey Jude (Vinyl)
Here lies a convenient way to access the Beatles' singles never available in LP format - magnificently sequenced in demonstrating their musical and lyrical growth. If you wonder why the Beatles are the world's greatest rock & roll band, try starting here. "Rain", "Don't Let Me Down" and "I Should Have Known Better" are permanent classics. Virtually all the others hold up too. This could be Allen Klein's greatest gift to the general public.

THE premier Beatles album,
By
This review is from: Hey Jude (Vinyl)
This song was written by Paul McCartney for John's son, Julian, when John was going through his divorce with Julian's mother, Cynthia Powell Lennon. It was written to help the child understand and deal with his feelings of what he was going through. It was a very heartfelt and sensitive song with a lot of emotion that fans of the era did not know or understand. This song, and this album will NEVER get old. It can be listened to with interest and joy today as it was when I was a teen in love with The Beatles. My 7 year old granddaughter is living prof: she loves and knows nearly all Beatles toons.
