"Hey man can I borrow this?"
"Nah my Brotha, u got to getcha OWN"

Who can forget this COMMERCIAL on BET in 1986?

A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY CLASSIC R&B QUIETSTORM LOVER

I remember this was
back in 1986 when this
collection was offered

on TV only by BET

and I begged my Husband
until he bought it for me!

I think we starved for 3 days but I had to have it.

Still treasure the Vinyl today.

Originally released in 1986, this unique and venerable compilation brought forty great soul ballads together. This CD is an almost-perfect example of the "Sweet Soul" genre's best songs and interpreters and probably set the stage for today's countless soul ballad compilations available.

Fortunately, I purchased this set when it first hit the street because finding it now, you must pay top dollar. But still it's worth every single penny, plus some!

They just don't make music or soulful compilations like this anymore. Just pop it in and let it play. Take a trip down memory lane, or simply find out what great, soothing, harmonic, soulful music sounds like!

The Dramatics, The Chi-lites, The Delfonics, The Stylistics, The Temprees, The Originals, The Independents, Harold Melvin & The Bluenotes, Billy Paul! Can you say an out of the world line up of soul music!

I saw the TV ad for the Hey Love CDs; and after hearing samples of the songs they contain, I knew I had to own them. Even if you did not grow up in the 60s or 70s, if you enjoy listening to nonexplicit, yet very romantic tunes, you'll want to add this CD to your collection.
