I like the crinoline, but it is cheap quality. I would have paid
$15.00 at the most for it. It is a costume quality and even says
costume on the bag. It is not a hand made item. I expected more.

This crinoline skirt adds just the right amount of fullness to get that lovely retro feel, without making you look like you should be banished back to the set of 'Grease.' These are true to size; I ordered by the sizing chart/waist size guide on the website, and the skirt fits perfectly. It is well made, and the tulle ruffles are lined, so they won't make your legs itch. I would feel comfortable wearing this in public as an actual part of my wardrobe. All in all, a good choice for a very wearable crinoline.

I bought this crinoline to go under a tea length 50's style dress. I was hoping it would provide enough fullness - to make it look like a poodle skirt. It did not even come close. It is super cheap and has absolutely no fullness. There literally is no noticable difference from when I have teh crinoline underneath and when i don't. The other review said he would not pay more than $15 - I would not pay more than $7. I am back to looking for another crinoline.

I ordered this crinoline for a 1950s style Hawaiian print dress I bought. The occasion was an outdoor tiki party I was hosting, in the middle of summer. I was worried the crinoline would make my legs and tummy terribly hot and sweaty, but it didn't at all. Futhermore, it transformed my Hawaiian dress from drab to fab!!! Poof!

I bought this for underneath my tea length wedding dress, and it was great! My only complaint would be that was quite scratchy on the backs of my legs by the end of the night because I chose not to wear a slip underneath and I was walking around a lot, but for the price, you can't beat it! It was not bothersome enough for me to wish I had paid more for a different crinoline. It gave me just the right amount of fullness in the skirt of my dress and the length was perfect. I had to pack it and take it on a plane, it scrunched right up and I just flattened it out by hand once I got there. It is so hard to find this crinoline length for a reasonable price; this is it!

I purchased this crinoline to go beneath my 50's inspired wedding gown. Though other reviewers mentioned the mediocre quality of the material and construction, it was virtually the only thing I could find on the interwebs that was of the appropriate length and fullness.The materials aren't high-quality but that's what makes them work for my purpose: the stiffness of the heavy, rough tulle holds its shape against the heavy satin of my gown. And it doesn't strike this shopper as overpriced -- if you've done cosplay or vintage shopping you'll know that the underpieces that make the piece perfect are often not worth quite what you paid for them in terms of material, but they are for achieving the perfect look.

My only gripe is that the skirt came in such an itsy bitsy teeny tiny package (about the size of a fat hardbound book) that it'll take some aggressive steaming to remove all the kinks caused by packing. It wasn't a delight to have to treat my crinoline like one of those "just add water" cheap washclothes from childhood.

If you're looking for a full, knee-to-tea length crinoline for your occasional wearing of mid-century vintage styles or costumes, this product is perfect. If you're looking for an everyday wear piece...make your own.

I wanted to wear a 1950's style outfit for a wedding I was attending. I actually purchased the crinoline before the dress and jacket I planned to wear were made.

Unfortunately, the dress did not fit as I had hoped but after some rethinking, the dress became a skirt and with the right accessories -- THE CRINOLINE BEING THE MOST IMPORTANT PIECE -- I had the 1950's outfit I wanted.
The crinoline really brought back such comforting memories of my childhood, when ladies actually dressed up to go out and the "poofier" your skirt was the better it looked.

I love this crinoline and I'm trying to think of ways to incorporate it into my daily wardrobe and not just wear it for special occasions.

I have not worn the crinoline yet. I does not match the poodle skirt on amazon in length or fullness. I have to get a new crinoline for the poodle skirt. I think it would be nice for the right dress.

Finding Plus-sized FUN clothing is getting harder and harder.
This Crinoline combined with the red circle skirt also ordered from "Hey Viv!" is just what I was looking for!
