My wife is traveling overseas with tons of baby stuff, gifts, as well as clothes. In this day and with airlines cutting down the weight limit you really do not want to waste weight on the bag itself. I shipped the bags overnight for a very cheap price compared to other site as Amazon offered a 17 $ overnight fee vs the others that offered the same service for 60+$. When arrived, the bags were as described, beautiful, durable and very light! Even my two year son was able to carry the small one around and he's a skinny little thing! One Odd thing about them though is that when I took them out of the box they had that weird chemical smell that faded away in a few days in an open air place so be warned that if you wanna use these new bags just let them "breath" for a few days before unless you like your stuff smelling like chemicals!The smell goes away. Also other things I noted through out my search:
1- every one liked them
2- there are two kinds with the same name and color!! I believe one is a newer version that amazon does not have (and I believe it is not yet released in the US)the one amazon has, the zippers are black and all the bags have a textured surface. The other one actually has red zippers and the small carryon has a smooth finish (shiny)

So there you have it guys, love the bags so if you are considering, do buy them!!

Bought this set over 3 years ago. Its been to Europe, the Caribbean, Miami, New York, Mexico and half a dozen other places I cant remember always filled to the max! They hold a ton of stuff and are expandable. (My husband and I haven't learned to travel light yet!) They've held up great and they're easy to spot on the carosel! We recommend them to everyone who asks us about them. There is a reviewer here who has spammed every Heys item. Be on the lookout for duplicate reviews by the same person. I'm sorry she's had a bad experience, but for us the bags have been a great investment!

I like the suitcase set but was surprised when it arrived. The picture is misleading as it is not shiny like shown. It is made of a composite but it has a dull look. At the same time I ordered an extra piece (20" carry-on by same manf.) to match the set and for my wife to use. It looked to be the same as the set(both made by Heys) but came from a different source (supplier) than the set. The set was directly from Amazon. My wife's piece arrived exactly as pictured. It was the shiny appearance that I had expected of the set bought directly from Amazon. I now have (3) pieces with the dull appearance and (1) piece that is shiny. This defeated my purpose as I had wanted to end up with (4) pieces that matched (all with shiny appearance). I did not return the item because I did not think it worth the hassle.

I bought this luggage because of the "lifetime warranty". After my 1st flight, the supposedly hard case luggage came back to me with a 6 inch crack in the side. Heys does not cover any damage sustained during travel, and does not take responsibility for selling a flimsy, weak "hard"case luggage. I will never buy Heys again.
