I was curious as to how this battery would work after my original battery died. I haven't taxed it much, but the handful of times I've used the camcorder the battery has worked exactly as the one that came with my camcorder almost ten years ago. I can't say how it would hold up to vigorous use, but my experience gives me no reason to doubt this product.
