I am 20, and when I was in middle school, "I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)" was the joint! Ah....memories. I can still remember dancing to that song at school dances and around the neighborhood, and everybody singing "I like, the way..." - it seems like it was not even that long ago. "Just Can't Handle It" and "I Can't Wait Another Minute" were also popular. For a stroll down memory lane, or to get a taste of what early 90s R&B was all about, check this cd out!

I was about 7 when these songs were out and i have so many memories from them. wow! i wish i was 7 again. stayin out late, hittin the boys water fights, &crushes. dang time flies.

I been a fan of Hi-5 since I was about 8. My baby-sitter used to always play the CD & I liked it. It was jammin from beginning to end. I especially like the slow cuts. But I got a new song by them, I don't know if is a sign of a new album or what. It's called "10 Toes Up". I hope it is a new Hi-5 CD comin out because if it is I will buy it. I never really listened to the album in its entirety, but the kissing game was the hit of "90. It brings back club-memories.

"The Kissing Game" is one of my favorites from the early 90s, so this album gets 5 stars for that alone.

While I'm far from being a teen, this album does bring me back to my teen days. "I Can't Wait Another Minute" was one of my favorite songs back then, and "I Like The Way" was on the radio all the time for a while, while many of us sang along to it in our cars. There are a couple of other nice tracks on here ("Just Another Girlfriend" and "I Just Can't Handle It"), but it's maybe another track or two away from being a complete album. This was Hi-Five's second release, but I thought it was better than their first album release, and probably their best. You may consider buying their Greatest Hits compilation, if you're looking to add Hi-Five to your collection, but you maybe just as well served from this one, considering that the best tracks on their Greatest Hits compilation are from this album.

I might only be twelve years old but hi-five is my favorite group. I was only three years old when I first heard their cd. My favorite cd was the first cd named Hi-five. I knew all of the lyrics to the songs on the whole first cd since I was three years old so I am practually in love with the cd. My favorite songs are "I Like The Way(The Kissing Game), I Know Love, and I Can't Wait Another Minute." I wish the group was still singing so I could continue my collection.

This Southwestern teen R&B ensemble, Hi-Five found success with a sound that updated the elements of New Edition. The original members Tony Thompson, Roderick Clark, Russell Neal, Marcus Sanders, and Toriano Easley all appear here; Toriano Easley would be replaced by Treston Irby on the second album. The kiddie-pop hip-hop flavored uptempo tracks with the new jack swing vocals were Hi-Five's road to success and they ranked as one of the more popular youthful groups of the early-'90s. Their self-titled debut was an instant smash and even sprung off a few hit-singles; "I Just Can't Handle It," "Just Another Girlfriend," and the two huge hits "I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)" (No. 1 Billboard, No. 1 R&B), and the Eric Foster written ballad "I Can't Wait Another Minute" (No. 8 Billboard, No. 1 R&B). The album would also hit No. 1 on the charts, but was far from the level of the champions in this genre, Boyz II Men, Bell Biv DeVoe, and Guy.

I have been a strong and faithful fan of Hi-Five for years. Please post more web pages, with more music to view. Does anyone know what they are doing now, or if they hope to have a reunion.

I was so happy and excited to get this item because it was so hard to find other places. It was in great condition!!
