5.0 out of 5 stars hi-lilft jack already payed for itself
I bought my hi-liftjack just for general jacking needs. I didn't know that I would need it to lift a large tractor weight into the back of a trailer to take to a salvage yard. It worked perfectly though and then was used again to lift the trailer onto the hitch of my truck. Very useful and very easy to use. I would definetely by again.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good jack, but not designed for all autos
I bought this jack mainly to lift my cars and trucks very high so I could get under them more easily. The jack works great and lifts a lot of weight. You can use it to lift a variety of things, but it is not designed to lift all types of automobiles. Since the part of the jack on which the thing you're lifting rests (the lower-jaw shaped part) is only a few inches...

5.0 out of 5 stars What, you don't have one yet?!?!?!?, February 8, 2008

I'll keep this short: If you have a 4x4 and/or do any off-roading you NEED a Hi-Lift. Easy to use in any configuration, bullet-proof reliable, and nearly indestructible.

While mine has yet to be used on my truck, it is handy.

5.0 out of 5 stars great price,great shipping,great product, February 12, 2010

Bought this jack to help move a 14'X16'storage building. It easily lifted the building(one end at a time)high enough for me to back a trailer underneath.I also used it as a winch to drag the building around to fine tune it's position before jacking it back up and replacing the support blocks.I saved double what I paid for the jack by not having to pay a large rollback to move the building.I used the Super Saver Shipping(I'm cheap)thinking it would take a week or more to come.Ordered it on Sunday night,it was here Tuesday afternoon. The box was badly damaged, but the jack was not.I can understand that since the jack does have a little weight to it.This tool will do alot, but if you're not carefull it can hurt you.

5.0 out of 5 stars A True Multi-Tool, October 28, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This jack is great. I use it with my Jeep and it has come in handy several times. Not only is it a jack, but it can also be used as a come-along. It is quite heavy, but that is a good trait for me considering what it is used for. If you are looking at carrying it in a Jeep Wrangler TJ, I used a 3" muffler clamp and a 2 1/2" muffler clamp across the back roll bars to secure it. The 2 1/2" clamp fits perfectly in the holes at the base of the jack.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hi-LIft is highly regarded, November 21, 2006
One of the first things I learned surfing the web was that nearly everyone who goes off-road takes a Hi-Lift jack along with them. I used to keep a long bumper jack with me when I went with my CJ-2A and even as bad as that jack was, it got me out of several binds.

So there was no doubt that I would get a Hi-Lift jack as one of my first pieces of off-road gear. I decided to get all the trimmings and go for the 60-inch model since I was not expecting to get an electric winch anytime soon, and the extra length may come in handy if I have to manually winch myself using the jack. Even after I got the electric winch, the Hi-Lift is still on my list of essential gear.

I never leave home without it.

My first mounting system consisted of a 4XRAC and Jack Protector cover. I assembled the brackets to the roof rack with some additional hardware that I purchased.

The Hi-Lift is great. I have no doubt that this is an essential tool to have with you at all times.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hi Lift Jack, August 9, 2008
Very heavy piece of equipment. Real old school. Must be made of cast spent uranium. Just kidding, but you will need to be careful how you secure this device in your vehicle due to the weight and bulk. Seems very well made. Must be lubricated and cared for properly unlike a typical car jack. For off road drivers this could be a life saver, but you must have the other correct equipment as well (bumper or wheel lift hooks, tow strap, sand board, chain, shackles, etc.). Other uses too like jacking out posts or lifting shed corners for leveling. Ordered the thing and it showed up within a few days by way of a very out of breath UPS man!

5.0 out of 5 stars Built like the 50s, September 24, 2010

Solid and tough. Put it to use as soon as it arrived on a 1950 DeSoto that had settled into the ground. No clearance for a hyd jack or forks, the heavy chrome bumper being just a few inches off the ground it was no problem jacking the old tank up and placing blocks under it. No need to always fire up the tractor/loader when this simple tool will easily accomplish the task. Procrastinated and put off buying one of these for far too many years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hi-Lift Jack HL-605 60", November 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased two of the HL-605 jacks. My only comment is WOW......these things are very well made and well worth the money. I researched and shopped around for farm jacks. I'm the type of person who will not buy "junk" tools. The Hi-Lift brand was the only one that seemed to meet my standards/demands. I'm very glad I made this decision, as said before, these jacks work excellent plus are very well made......all cast, heavy, strong, made like products from years ago......no doubt these will last several lifetimes! Also, great price and free shipping. Spend a few extra bucks, you will not be disappointed! In addition, the 60" length is perfect.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great item and Price!, September 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Free shiping keeps the price down. It is very strong and tall enough to lift my raised Ford F350. I haven't purchased the accesory kit, but I plan to. It is better to buy this item via Amazon then local store. The price is lower, no tax, and ships for free. It comes in 2 sizes, make sure you get the right size for what you want to do.
