I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars for a docking station for my IPod when I have a great stereo system already. I spent under $15 dollors for this cord that plugs right into my tuner and plays my IPOD on my speakers. As an added bonus it also plugs into my DVD player in the Suburban so now I can listen to my IPOD on my car speakers as well. No static and great playback. My ONLY complaint is that it doesn't charge my IPod as well.

I bought this for a long trip. It allowed me to connect my ipod (80 GB classic) to the TV and to a portable DVD player (must have AV input port). It needs an extra cable to connect to the DVD player if yours didn't come with one. We could then watch all the movies on the ipod without having to bring all the DVD's. It worked great and I would highly recommend it.

This adapter flawlessly enables me to put the video and music from my iPod class into my home entertainment system. It is well made and durable.

cable worked first 2 times and then stopped being recognized by the ipod..........however it still does work with an older ipod....the ad is misleading....

Just got it. Haven't tried the video but that's not what I got it for. Got it to connect my ipods to stereo receiver. It works for my 3 year old ipod and my brand new nano. New nano does show a "not supported device" message but still plays songs. For the price and what I bought it for it works great.

Recently purchased an iPhone (iPod Touch) app for live streaming of a news and commentary channel. Wanted to watch it on a bigger screen by connecting my iPod to the TV. Product arrived promptly and is pretty good in terms of manufacturing quality and functionality - however, it only transmits U-Tube videos and iTunes videos played on the iPod. If you need it for that, than go for it - you'll be a happy camper. Doesn't work for anything else.

This cable works great with the ipod nano 3G and ipod nano 4g. It does not work with my iphone 1G or iphone 3GS.

It appears that they got the "shipping the wrong item problem" mentioned in other reviews worked out. I got the right item on my order.

If you have an ipod that this works with it this is a great deal. I am guessing that everything but iphone which reportedly has a chip to check for authorized accessories works.

$10 vs. $50 for other cables...an easy choice.

I was so excited to get this product! I can now listen to my iTouch in the car.

Received the universal apple ipod usb charger kit, though i ordered this product.The correct barcode label was affixed to this incorrect product.Contacted amazon cust. service and they sent me a link that only leads me to where i can leave feedback. Order this item only if you enjoy receiving something randomly out of a grab bag.

DO NOT BUY. DOES NOT WORK WITH IPHONE 3G or 3GS.
