You need to have an older iPod to be able to use this! Newer iPods require a chip in the cable to be able to use it, this is why it is not working for iphone and iPod touch and new ipod nano users. Only apple products and Apple-licensed products will be able to have this chip in it, which will drive up the prices to a huge $49 or more

Good: Looks way better than the picture in the description.
Con: Would not work with my 2nd gen ipod touch though according to description it was supposed to. Was not an approved/compatible accessory. Opinion: Worthless, had to return it.
