doesn't work with the iphone 3g as stated.
so basically a complete waste of time and money for me.

You need to have an older iPod to be able to use this! Newer iPods require a chip in the cable to be able to use it, this is why it is not working for iphone and iPod touch and new ipod nano users. Only apple products and Apple-licensed products will be able to have this chip in it, which will drive up the prices to a huge $49 or more

Good: Looks way better than the picture in the description.

Con: Would not work with my 2nd gen ipod touch though according to description it was supposed to. Was not an approved/compatible accessory.

Opinion: Worthless, had to return it.

The description for this item is inaccurate and misleading. I purchased this accessory for use with my iPhone 3G specifically because the item description indicated compatibility. The audio will play on your TV screen, but the video will not. THIS ACCESSORY IS NOT 3G COMPATIBLE. There have been several complaints about this, so I am curious why the description has not been changed....

This was billed as being I-Pod touch compatible, and it was not. I connected it to my TV to play video from my I-Pod Touch. It did not work--the I-Pod flashed a message that said the device was not compatible. I tried it on another TV. It did not work. It has been tossed in my pile of other "off-brand" junk that does not work as advertised. Don't buy it or you will be disappointed!

I ordered this for my video iPod Nano 4G. It was a good price, as compared to Apple's $49.00 composite cable. It works very well, and the picture amazing.

i have an ipod touch 2nd gen,
it said it would work with it, the cable DOES NOT WORK WITH THE IPOD TOUCH! I WASTED MY MONEY. ITS FLASE ADVERTISING

As another person stated, this product is not compatible with the iPod Touch 2G - operating on 3.0 OS. Make sure you read all the info if this is what you want. Don't make the same mistake I did. ;-(

These Composite AV cables worked perfectly with my iPod Touch 2G. They are quality built; as nice as original apple products.
04/06/2009: Just noticed the shocking $99.00 new price on these babies. I bought them for less that $10.00 and would never pay $99.00 for them. I can't edit my 5-Star review so look for a better price.

Only time will tell if the cord is durable, but I cannot find any flaws at this point.
