I was looking for a lightweight hiker for weekend hikes, that provided some amount of water resistance or water proofing at a reasonable price. After a couple of hikes these shoes seem to fit the bill. I have yet to use them packing any weight, but with a daypack they gripped well, were comfortable, and provided ample support for a low cut shoe. They do seem to run about a half size large in my estimation.

These hiking boots are very light. The fit is right. Put the shoes on and go hiking no break-in time needed at least for me.
