This is a well-made, comfortable boot that is also waterproof. It has a non-marking sole and does not get slippery when hiking over wet terrain. It is a great mid-priced shoe and Hi-Tec is a good name in specialty shoes. I have another pair and they are comfortable as well.

I LIKED THE FIT. HOWEVER IT'S CLASSIFICATION AS BEING MEDIUM HIGHTOP DOES NOT SEEMS TO BE RIGHT. I WOULD CLASSIFY AS BEING "HIGH TOP".

I ordered these boots for a trip I will be taking out west this summer. I have been wearing them around to break them in...however, from the first time I wore them they were very comfortable and didn't really need any breaking in at all. The "high top" felt a tiny bit stiff but wore great after a few minutes of wearing them. My opinion is they are definitely true to size as I ordered my normal size 10 and they fit just right. I was unsure of the color description as they are listed as Taupe/Grey but, in my opinion, they look more of a dark khaki color and I actually liked the color better in person than in the picture. They seem very well made and after researching and shopping around, I am very happy with my purchase!

I have had this boot for two years and am just now replacing them. They are great. The soles are wearing out but they have lasted longer than other boots. I wear them every day. I have a problem with nylon uppers tearing. These are leather and have not torn. I like Hi-Tech shoes. I am a male but these boots fit better than any other boot I have worn.

She likes them and they're a good deal for a waterproof solution to back country hiking.

I worn them today in the rain. This boots helped me so much on the slippery muddy ground. Very light and great fit.

I bought these for my wife after having had a pair of Hi-Tecs in the past that I was satisfied with. However, on our first major hike (10 miles) in the rugged Arizona desert mountains one of the eyelets popped out. She was able to go on, but I would have expected this to last a little longer. It probably could be fixed, but at this price is it worth it? You get what you pay for in most instances and I am afraid this is one time where the price did not meet the quality expected. Learned my lesson, we will get her a new pair of Merrell's. Better quality and well worth every penny.

Perfect size. Took a couple days to break in but after that they were quite comfortable. I work in a warehouse and I'm on a cement floor all day, very good support. Highly recommend.
