This review is from: Hibiclens 4oz Liquid Antimicrobial Antiseptic Skin Cleanser
HIBICLENS LIQUID 4 OZI bought this to help get my wife and me through the flu season this year, the product came highly recommended and I thought that this extra protection was worth it. I won't know if it worked until next Spring. I'll try to remember to update the review then. I recommend this product for those who are trying to avoid the flu. (I have heard that hospitals use it.) Excellent stuff,

I discovered a rash on my back and applied some leftover prescription Hydrocortisone cream. Dial soap (antibacterial, or something like that) didn't work, either. When it became slightly worse, I knew it wasn't eczema. I didn't think it was ER-worthy, I couldn't see the dermatologist immediately, so I searched Google. Convinced that it was a staph or fungal infection, I bought H., Neosporin and Lotrimin cream. I think I used this every day for three minutes, then rubbed on Neosporin or Lotrimin. On the first day, the "moist" rash dried up. On the second day, the "bumps" were smaller. The tingling pain went away quickly, too. When I saw the derma. the next week, she said it was shingles (not bacteria or fungus) and was almost HEALED! She told me not to use Hibiclens anymore because it can aggravate eczema. I said that it had cleared up most of the shingles within one week without irritating my skin, and I would continue to use it. If I ever get shingles again, I will use Hibiclens, Neosporin and maybe Hydrocortisone. |
