I received the seeds, they appear to be good, and I got them quickly. I do wish the (pretty complex) germination procedure was listed on the description; I probably would have shied away. You are supposed to plant the seeds, keep them moist at 70°F for a week, then in the fridge (39°F) for a week, then at 50°F for a week. I have no way to keep them at 50, so I will work on it at some other point. I don't know about the viability of the seeds, but I'll assume they're good, from the other seeds I got.

5.0 out of 5 stars Slow growers, but they do grow, July 15, 2011

After I received the seed pack, I did a little research on how to best plant them. All information said it takes at least 21 days for germination. I used a Burpee's seed starting kit and planted 2 in each of the 6 pods. I followed the kit instructions. After about 4-5 days I placed the whole kit tray inside a small plastic grocery bag and tied it, and I placed it on the on the windowsill (indirect light). That forces faster germination, which occurred in 2 weeks. Only 2 little plants germinated that way. I decided to discard with the bag and left the (still covered) tray on my windowsill (indirect light). A little seedling sprouts up about every week 1/2. When they sprout I take them outside and plant them. So far they are doing well.

These are slooooooow seeds, but they seem to germinate if you forget about them. I just planted the rest in another bigger seed kit, and left in my cubicle to germinate, let's see how that works.

Happy planting!
