Uneven content,

The reviews say this is for age 4-8, but most children would probably need to be in the upper end of that range to enjoy the book on their own. The pages have large pictures in bold colors with information about dinosaurs in rhyme. The dinosaurs aren't readily identifiable, and the rhymes aren't that good. Smaller dinosaurs are "hidden" in the illustrations, but even adults may find them hard to find. Each page contains an inset box with detailed information. Summing up: there are better dinosaur books out there; not worth the retail price.
