This book had a lot of good information and was well organized, making it easy to find information as you drove from Key to Key. The problem was that the information seemed to be dated in many cases. One evening my husband and I drove to three different restaurants featured in the book before we found one that hadn't closed down. Understandably the down economy has hit the tourism industry in the Keys, but it was pretty irritating to be driving around for over an hour to find buildings with boarded up windows and doors. If you're heading to the Keys, go for a more recently published book.

This little book [$15.99 !!] is so out of date .You can easily get more info from the FREE guides that are everywhere in the Keys. Examples ; route 94 ,the loop road off of 41 is a must see deserving of more than a passing nod,Islamorada and no mention of the Safari Lounge ??,World Wide Sportsman and Islamorada Fish company are in the same building ,guess the gals were never there,Marathon ...omissions,Castaway was totally rehabbed three years ago .No mention of SPARKYS the best waterfront restaurant in the lower Keys.The Seven Mile Grill is awful not a " solid choice" , The Quay has been gone for years.when has the Butterfly Cafe been open answer ..never.Come on, what about Porkys the most popular highway/water front rib joint in the Keys.... Big Pine Key under night life .The No Name Pub, it closes at 9:30 .The Looe Key resort and the Tiki Bar are the same thing ! I could go on but the Key West section needs so many corrections there's not enough space. Forget this and get the above mentioned free guides.The only sign that any of the authors have been to the Keys is the closing of Atlantic Shores 4 Years ago blurb !

This book is filled with the great history of the Keys! Good suggestions for areas to visit.

The book is full of many helpful tips in the Florida Keys for any travel trip planned.
