When I ordered this I did not realize it was a Scholastic book for children. It is well written and a very good account of the horrors one young girl experienced but not so that it would be too upsetting for an older child to read. There is a good list of reference material at the end. It is a very short book and an easy read. I'd recommend it for older school age children.

A well written book about a girl from Poland who survives the Holocaust. It is a quick read that captures you from the minute you start the book.
