Different type of hidden objects game,

First off, I didn't buy this game from Amazon; I downloaded it from the Big Fish website.
Hidden Relics is a hidden objects game but it's a bit different from the ones I've played. This game is really interesting but sometimes downright annoying. Besides the usual hunt for hidden objects (some which are half hidden behind other things), you have to play mini-games to unlock special devices that you need to find special hidden objects that can't be seen by the "naked" eye and those games can be frustrating and some of the devices make it difficult to find the object. With the regular hidden objects, there's a "handbook" that allows you to see exactly what you're looking for before resorting to the hints. I like the story (played out like a comic strip) but it does get a bit predictable and the music is rather soothing. I find this game to be fun for short periods of time but can get a bit boring after an hour or more of playing.

Not my favorite. :(,

"Hidden Relics" isn't a bad game; it's mostly a hidden object game (HOG), with Find the Differences, Find 10, etc. between levels ("chapters"). Since the game mostly involves spotting antiques, the Handbook is a VERY useful feature which offers a definition and picture of objects the player selects from the look-for list, and using the Handbook does NOT use up one of the allowed hints.
The game is suitable for the hearing impaired, and a (weak) magnifier is the first purchase players make with stars earned from successful completion of a minigame. Minigames include Hanoi Towers, Memory, and jigsaw puzzles. I found the other purchases less useful. I wish a little more time had been taken with development of "Hidden Relics;" it has a cheap feel to me. I wasn't fond of the comic strip story, although the comic strips can be skipped. Numerous misspellings litter the entire game, including "pizza cuter" and "loose" instead of "lose."

My wife enjoyed this game greatly. Once she played it through on an easy level, and is now ready to go back and play it on a harder level. Great game for the price.

This game was okay, it was too quick for me. It didn't take much to thinking to find everything. I don't think I would buy another one or get the new version of one.

This is a interesting game. I'm into hidden object games and this one is pretty good. My only problem with the game, some of the objects are really hard to find, like an object is in a dark area, so you can't see it. Other then that, I would recommend it.

I bought Hidden Relics at Wal Mart for $10 months ago, and it is now a better deal on Amazon. My wife and I played the game and enjoyed it. There are easy and hard parts to the game. You must get the special "viewers" to find the relics and some of the games to earn them get difficult as you do more. Get them when you are given a chance to or the game will not be as fun. The special viewers are fun to use and it adds an extra whimsy to the game, and the rooms even hint to you what viewers to use to find the special relics, but that doesn't make finding them all easy. The diamond viewer is the hardest to find relics. Searching for the objects in the rooms is sometimes frustrating because of the way they are hidden and I felt like I was going blind trying to find some of the tiny items, but the game gives you the ability to check exactly what the object you are searching for looks like, and hints that allow you to force the game to show you the object as you play. It's overall an easy and fun game and well worth the discount Amazon price, imo. The comic strip is a distraction. The game grades you on how well you are doing as you go along. Hours of fun. I liked Mystery P.I. in Vegas better, but it was the first hidden object game I played so I compare all others to it.

Santa brought this to us. My son sat down to play it and pretty soon the whole family was sitting around trying to find objects. We had my 5 year old son up to his 67 year old Grandpa playing it. We really enjoy it.
