If there was something less than 1 star, this gets it!,

I don't see much research at all here! The information and accusations she uses are over 100 years old. Sources used are doubtful, and never clearly staited. The average junior high student could write this book. It isn't worth even checking out at the library! Save your money!

Interesting research, but lost focus in that research,

Since I am not a mason but was interested, I purchased this book. Everything in it is tied to one thing. No matter what the author talks about she can relate it to that one theme. After I read the book I wondered how she could tie everday thing to it. I think that she has studied the bible a little to hard and needs to return to reality. She spent a lot of time researching the material but lost focus of the simple truth.

A disappointment,

An hysterical "analysis" filled with bolded words and exclamations marks courtesy of the author. An utter disappointment. I was hoping for a review of Masonic symbolism with possible or documented tie-ins to mythology, mysticism, theology.... anything. Dr. Burns, an apparent fundamentalist Christian, is obsessed with debunking masonry by comparing it the bible -- ironically, a book which many see as a highly symbolic story. She has no regard for other ancient cultures, traditions and religions. I'm glad I didn't spend more than [$$$] on her rantings. The only positive thing I can say about it is that she listed many biblical, mythological and historical characters which might make for interesting reading and research.
