Buy Volume One First!
The Hidden Side of the Things should be read from beginning to end. Volume 1 is invaluable and should be required reading for every serious student of the Occult. This follow up volume merely continues what was set forth in volume 1. Both books are an incredible asset to understanding the Occult influences.

Charles Leadbeater is one of my favorites, and he really gets in deep with this book. I already believed in the inherant energy of all things, people places and things, but this book will fine tune your understanding and give you a deeper insight into the Reality we don't see.
