Legacy remains the best of the Star Wars books,

While other SW books are mired in continuity, unable to tell significant stories, Legacy breaks out over a century after Return of the Jedi with new characters, a new setting and new threats.
In this volume we meet another heir to the Skywalker clan, get a ray of hope for the Jedi and move things forward. A bit. Ostrander's writing is as good as ever, he does characters and long-term plotting very well. Duursema does some great aliens and humans. The only reason I would not give this 5 stars is that it's very similar to the last volume. This is more about introducing new characters and fleshing out some old ones rather than moving the plot forward. While we need issues like this to make readers care about the cast, the story is starting to drag. But if you're looking for some good Star Wars stories, Legacy is worth your time.

In this book, Cade Skywalker, on the run from the Sith, travels to his uncle's home for safety. While there, he discovers someone has been tracking him... With my brief synopsis out of the way, I would just like to say this is a great new chapter to a great new series. I enjoyed meeting some of Cade's family. I give this book a five-star review!
