5.0 out of 5 stars Hard To Find Tracks!
This disc has "Stairway To Heaven" which features Bobby Kimball (Toto lead singer) and other members of Toto and the song is very cool. It's got the feel of Zeppelin updated into the 80's. Roachford is another track that is tough to find, as is Industry. Red Rider's Lunatic Fringe is a great track on this collection as well. A great value for 10 tracks.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice selection of pop nuggests
This includes some cool stuff, such as "Cuddly Toy (Feel For Me)" by Roachford, which should have been a huge hit but wasn't (except for the UK). Also, "State Of The Nation" by Industry is a synth pop classic that is kind of rare.

Industry's "State of the Nation" is worth the price of this album alone, but in addition you get Kate Bush, Mazzy Star, and Wall of Voodoo. If you don't have the albums for these other tracks, these are exemplary cuts from these artists. But it must be emphasized that Industry's "State of the Nation" is available virtually nowhere else, except their impossible to obtain album "Stranger to Stranger."

I have been searching for a copy of the song "State of the Nation" by Industry for some time. Seems that the original album was only released on vinyl and didn't sell well enough to get re-issued as a CD when the new format became popular. I love the song, but couldn't justify paying big bucks for a rare vinyl copy (and a new turntable for my stereo system on which to play it).

Finally after repeated searches I hit pay dirt. "State of the Nation" as well as a few other '80s one hit wonders are on a low-priced disc named "Hidden Treasures". Hooray!

I liked this song back in the '80s when my local alternative FM station used to play it. When I heard it again years later on an Internet radio stream, I found the lyrics even more relevant and moving in the post 9/11 era of saber-rattling and lying to justify a war. That is what prompted me to start searching for the song. And now it is mine in a digital format at a very attractive price!

Thank you Hidden Treasures for including "State of the Nation" by Industry. And thank you Amazon for including this disc in your ever impressive selection of music.
