The first section of the CD takes a journey of sweet surrender to the Lord with captivating transition to a Hindi devotional chant that is no less than making love through song and expression. Vocal movements are extraordinary and Sophia's spirit comes through as though in her presence.

I remained in combined awe and trance... If you hear this, you will want to buy it - period.

btw - I first heard this on a tape of a friend's 3 days ago and immediately ordered the CD. I inadvertently ordered 4 CDs, so thought I might give them as gifts. Within 4 hours of recieving the CDs, I played for 2 separate friends - they immediately said they wanted to buy the CD and when heard I had extras, each person wanted to get my extras for them and their friends.

masterful recording . SOphia has a vocally pure and enchanting voice. This has been one of my favorite compilations for 20 years and it just gets better with time. Great for anything you want to bring a touch of the sacred to; meditation, ritual, even housecleaning.

We have used the cut, Sweet Surrender, in classes designed to facilitate life change. When played with a light-sound device, the effect can be cosmic. For women suffering from depression, this one song is worth the price of the cd.

The best new age music there is

I bought the cassette of this many years ago and have listened to it often. Am now buying the cd. Songs include native american chants and childbirth "opening" mantra. Well worth the price.

I have never been disappointed with any of Sophia's tapes. Her voice is so beautiful. Her passion is so intense, and when I really need to get some sleep, she also lulls me into dreamland so quickly. Just very relaxing music, and this is a very peaceful and soulful cd. I love to play this tape for background music as well. She's just the best. Listen to any samples she has, her voice is so beautiful.

I have a lot of the Sophia CD's and they are ALL very good! Nice to do yoga to or just meditate or do cerebral type work like writing or artwork.
