classic slasher fun!,

This is one of those movies that a friend and I picked up becuase there was nothing else we hadn't seen, and surprisingly ended up being an extremely entertaining bit of horror! It adds a slightly original twist by taking place in a multi-floored furniture store. The kids play hide and seek, and somewhere amongst the dark displays, and mannequins, a killer stalks them. The film ratchets the suspense up a notch till it builds to an admittedly bizarre conclusion. Highly recommended!

A pretty scary and good movie if you like Halloween or Friday the 13th. Kids graduating in high school decide to throw a party in a furniture store owned by one of the kids father. The furniture store is huge(3 big floors). Kids start dying and the killer dresses like them to confuse the other kids. Pretty creepy atmosphere...mannequins all over the place...

Strangely enjoyable 80's style horror,
This review is from: Hide and Go Shriek [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Hide and Go Shriek was suprisingly good of its type. Like Friday the 13th and its zillions of imitators, this film centers on a group of teens interested in the usual booze and sex. Gratuitious nudity is no treat for female viewers, but if you can look past it you'll find an atmospheric entertaining film. The Furniture Store is chock full of eery looking mannequins and there is a terrifying elevator scene!! Its different and pretty good for horror fans.

Furniture Stores at Night are Real Bummers,
This review is from: Hide and Go Shriek [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Playing hide and seek in a department store at night is not everyone's idea of fun, especially when there is a deranged psycho killer hiding behind every display and counter. The kiddies have lots of fun running around finding the best places to have sex until the murderer gets going. The plot does twist a bit and the killer is not whom you suspect midway through the flick. Some of the killings are a bit gruesome (bad s/fx) but all turns out well....or does it? Three stars is more than generous but this flick is entertaining.

I thought the movie was really awesome and shocking in the end. All through the movie I didn't know who the slasher was and then what a surprise. Those unsuspecting teens had no idea what evil lurked in the shadows of the furniture store in the middle of the night. All of the actors were very talented, especially Scott Kubay. The movie was really scary and one of the best horror movies I've ever seen.
