I bought this book for my grandson. I will be buying additional copies for other children I love to spoil. This is a fun, fun book. The story is about a group of children playing hide-and-go-seek. As you go through the story, the reader is given prompts to find one of the children. This in and of itself is a fun part of the book. An added bonus is the list of items on the page to locate. First it's a raccoon, then it's a raccoon and 2 spoons on the next page. Each page has you finding the items on the previous pages (in new places) plus an additional item. How many you find increases with each new item. This isn't a "hidden pictures" type of picture. The items you are seeking are not drawn into a tree trunk or something like that. They are hanging from the tree or hiding behind a flower pot or things like that. The pictures are very busy, so it does take a bit of hunting to find some of the things. My criteria for a good children's book is one that is fun for both the child and the adult to read. This one fills the bill. Good job, Mr. Foxworthy!

You will enjoy reading this book WITH or WITHOUT a child! It's a "Where's Waldo" kind of book with children playing Hide & Seek. Hours of fun for kids & adults!

This book was purchased as a gift for a 5 year-old boy. The story is entertaining and the illustrations are fun. Hunting for the hidden items adds an extra level of engagement. I would definitely recommend it.

I had never heard of this book, but our neighbor gave it to my 4-year old son for Christmas. I also have a 3-year old daughter. It's April now, and I don't think there has been a single night since Christmas that we have not read this book. While I am tiring of it, the kids still love it. It's fun because it isn't super easy to find the things on each page. So it's a challenge for them, which is a nice change from some of the other look-and-find books. Also the illustrations have so much detail that I can look for other things for them to find. There are still pages on which I can discover things we haven't found, and even the pages that we know by heart are still fun for the kids. This was a great gift!!

Each colorful two-page spread invites the reader to look for hidden objects, ranging from raccoons and spoons to mops and flip-flops. As the playful story progresses, the number of items to search for grows bigger. Hide!!! is a fun giftbook to share, although the temptation to take a black marker and circle each hidden object can be powerfully strong!

Bought this for my grandchildren who are 5 and 7 and they loved it. Foxworthy does an incredible job with this book and I highly recommend it.

My kids have 2 other Foxworthy books (Silly Street and Dirt on My Shirt)...and Hide!!! is equally enjoyable! Great addition to our library! Looking forward to more Foxworthy books.

I read "HIDE" before giving it to my 7 year old grandson. He totally loved it as much as I did. I will buy more of Mr. Foxworthy's children books in the future.

When first opened, the book had a strong smell, probably from the ink. But it disappeared quickly. My granddaughter loves the book and asks me to help her find the hidden objects.
