Great CD! Every song is straight from Scripture -- not just concepts, but word-for-word Scripture. The tunes are all very catchy, and are varied enough to not be annoying. He starts each song with a reading of the passage and a little comment (a few seconds long) explaining in terms understandable by the kids what the passage is saying. Steve does a great job at incorporating several uncommon instruments in addition to the more standardarly used ones so that each song has a sound of its own. My kids absolutely adore this CD, listen to it all the time, and sing and recite the verses back on their own. I highly recommend this CD for families interested in teaching Scripture verses to their young kids!

Both of my teens grew up with this cd and we all memorized precious scripture this way. The songs are for *children*, not rock-style grown up praise songs like are on other 'Children's Praise' cd's. Now I use this cd with my 'surprise' 2 1/2 year old! :) A must have in your music library!

We keep this CD in our car and listen to it often. It is full of great music, easy to sing along with. Without realizing it, my children have learned bible verses. Vol 1 is equally good.

I absolutely love this CD for my young daughter. I am even memorizing verses! Great way to teach children Bible verses. Highly recommend this CD. Great job Steve Green!

This CD is great for kids and adults too!! Steve only has scripture in his songs and we love that it teaches the kids (and adults) to memorize scripture to music. Catchy tunes too!

Great way to teach children scripture.
I use these when telling Bible stories to my preschool class, the songs compliment the story.
I also play it as background classroom music.

I remember listening to these songs over and over as a child, and I'm glad to hear my 2 year old ask to listen to "more Steve Green please!" These songs are a great way to teach scripture to young children. My 2 year old already knows the words to several songs.

This is a great CD for the young and young at heart. Scripture is put to song in a way that makes remembering the Word easily. Steve Green has a great voice and his relating to the kids is genuine. God is glorified by this CD and its companion volume. The DVD's are great too!

A friend recommended this music for us. My kids (ages 5 and 1) both sing along. I find myself humming the tunes as well. It makes learning rather lighthearted. Even my husband gets the verses stuck in his mind.

So great for little ones to learn Bible verses to memory...good for me, too. Look forward to buying more
