I bought this book for my daughter because she loves the other Usborne "That's not my..." books. I thought this would be more advanced but high quality. The pictures are really bright, but the hidden objects beneath the flaps are really tiny and the flaps are tiny and the feeling objects are really small too. It just wasn't that great especially for the higher price.

This is a great book. It's tough and a board book that will last longer than most books. It's good to even read to an infant. This book will grow with them. It has wonderful textures and surfaces that they can later feel, discover, learn about. Then later they will love the flaps that they can find and open. Cute, colorful, beautiful pictures, nice story. We love it.

Hide-and-Seek Dragons is an Usborne Touchy-Feely picturebook featuring stiff pages like a board book, flaps that young people can lift and search under, and perhaps most amazingly, a wide variety of different surfaces to touch, from fur to reflective fabric to scaly dragon bellies and much more. Cartoony dragons of different colors are playing a hide-and-seek game, and it's up to the young reader to find the hiding dragon behind one of the paper flaps. A definite treat for young dragon lovers!

My daughter loves this book! We purchased it for her when she was about 10 months old, and she liked it then. More importantly, it's still a favorite and regularly requested now that she's 19 months old. The illustrations are delightful, and the flaps and different textures are clever and intriguing. The flaps are relatively sturdy, but still no match for inquisitive baby fingers, so do be prepared to do a lot of taping. That said, our much taped and much loved copy is still joyfully read on a regular basis.

I collect dragons, so might be a little biased with this book and probably bought it more for myself than anything! Our son is only 8 months so he doesn't read and isn't into the flaps yet but from everything I've read people tell me it's never too early to start reading to your kids. Since I love books too, I picked up a bunch of Usborne books and love them all!

For now, our son just sits and looks at the pictures and listens to me read. I guide his fingers to touch the feely parts and he scratches at them. I do agree that the touchy feely parts are small on some pages. Flap books have always scared me for kids because the ones I usually see are torn to shreds! Until he is quite older, I will be working the flaps on the book and I hope to teach him to respect books in regards to taking care of his property and to not rip flaps or pages, etc.

The quality of the board book is great, strong and sturdy, the pictures are bright and colorful and it's a cute read. I'm very happy with this purchase! Thank you!

I bought this book not long after my twin girls were born and they are now a few months past 3. It is a gorgeous sturdy book I will give it that, that's what drew me to buy it. When the girls were little we tried this book, they liked it a lot, they liked the flaps and they like the textures, but the flaps are small for tiny fingers as are the textures under them, and unless you want flaps ripped off it is just not for little little ones. Now, they are just not that into it but I have not pushed it either, but I am hanging onto it because I think the stuff at the back of the book in regards to months and season will be a helpful learning tool. So, if you get it a gift, get it used or cheap, then go for it, but otherwise....

Both of my kids love this book (ages 18 months and 4 years). They love the touch-and-feel and lift-the-flap features. I like that it teaches colors. Great book.
