5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Story
Ive always enjoyed the Vampire Hunter D series since I watched the animated movie in the early nineties. I cannot wait for the next volume to come out.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great Manga, Awful eBook
Vampire Hunter D is superb, both in manga and anime forms.
Sadly, this version is awful. Don't get me wrong, it's scans of the excellent Vampire Hunter D manga. The problem is it is very, very poorly formatted.
The pages only fill 1/4 of the screen. So you have to zoom in to read them, then zoom out to switch pages. Even worse, only 80% of them are this way...

Even worse, only 80% of them are this way. Sometimes you get three small pages on one screen.
It should be noted that this isn't an "option" this is just the way it is.
I also bought the first volume, which while not great, was much better. The Kindle edition of the first Vampire Hunter D volume at least takes up 60% of the page, and there's only one page per screen, so you can flip through it and read it easy enough.
I sincerely hope they reformat this Kindle eBook. As it presently stands, I simply can't recommend reading it. Shame, as some of the other manga, such as Aoi House, look pretty darn good as a Kindle eBook.
Also, please not this only refers to the iPad version of the Kindle reader. I do not know how it would be on other devices.
