4.0 out of 5 stars A Wickedly entertaining aural slug-fest., June 1, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Hiding Behind the Smile (Audio CD)
By far the most obscure, demented and overall entertaining disc i've heard in a long while. D.F.C have fried up an unusual basket of somtimes off the wall industrial/breakbeat tracks. Upon first listen you can't help but to laugh at some of the wacky samples especially, "step into a Slim Jim" on the mariachi tinged "The Rules". What sets this album off from the ten million other sample heavy recordings out there is that D.F.C. have ideas. Each track takes you in a different direction, twisting and turning. Your able to listen to the full disc without going "enough already", something I know all of you "Electo-philes" have probably said recently.
