Book Description

Commander Brongill of Da’Hap heads the expedition to Earth in hopes of finding the survivors of an ancient crash and the key to Terrill’s survival. But Brongill knows first-hand how his race treats its saviors and decides to spare the human hybrids a torturous death by making certain they never reach Terrill. His mind is firmly set on revenge until he meets her…

Alderina Wedgen wants nothing more than to raise her three children in peace. What she gets is kidnapped by aliens, seduced by a secretive commander and nearly blown-up. Facing a common enemy, she has no choice but to form an alliance with a man who once considered killing her--a man who is relentless in pursuing what he wants.

But while the universe is vast, Ally and Brongill soon find that there is no hiding space and to survive the trip they’ll have to risk more than their hearts and lives.

3.0 out of 5 stars Seemed a little hazy May 4, 2013

I did not get into this story as much as her other stories. It seemed hazy on how the relationship developed in such a short amount of time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Satisfying read! November 29, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Hiding Space starts out simple, and yet fun, with a mother of three abducted by aliens. Ally has plenty of reasons to want to leave earth, and even her kids see it all as a grand adventure. But Ally is grounded in reality. Until someone aboard the ship, now heading to another solar system, decides to start killing. Brongill is a delicious hero, and shocking in his own way. (That's all I'll say so as not to spoil the fun)
I don't normally read this genre, and had a bit of trouble sorting the scientific and mythological stuff out, (perhaps because I didn't read the other story and the glossary was at the back of the book instead of the front) but I was just captivated by the deep and fascinating world Ms Andrews has created. I loved that her characters were realistic and well-formed. The twists kept me reading late into the night, and her imagery had me both laughing and cringing. Ty, the computer of the ship, was almost gruesome under her deft touch with words. And the final twists gave the whole story a satisfying feeling.
It was indeed a satisfying read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Want to stay up late tonight? November 17, 2011

I really loved this book. Ms. Andrews really knows how to pull the reader into her world and not let go. There were many plot twists to the story and I never new what was coming next. Just when I thought I could put the book down, the author managed to get my attention with another action packed scene. I loved the hero, Brongill of DaHap. I think he made the book such a great read. Highly recommend!
