This review is from: Hieroglyphic Tales (Kindle Edition)
I wasn't sure what I was in for when I started reading the author's preface to this book - but once I read the first story, I understood what was going on. It is very over the top, surreal fantasy humor fiction, and it's VERY funny at times. Quick stories to read, and well worth the time!Wonderful. Reminded me a lot of Douglas Adams' style (though technically, I suppose one should say that Adams' has a Walpolish style, but I read Adams 3 decades before any Walpole, so there you have it). |
