I recently bought a set of these after doing a lot of research and asking around on different car audio forums. After installing them in my 2003 Silverado I was astonished. The highs are crisp the mid bass is perfect. I have mine hooked up to a Pioneer 400 watt amp pushing 40watts RMS per channel and they sound great.These speakers can handle a lot more but for now this is the set up I have. My opinion you can't go wrong purchasing a set of these.

First off, I've never had any problems with a product from Hifonics, or any Maxxsonics companies. The woofers have a good overall sound, mid bass is perfect. Also if you supply 12v to the woofer the dust cap lights up (nice added feature, cool at night) Tweeters are nice and crisp. The crossovers are easy to use and they work as advertised. Just can't find anything bad to say...

Great quality product & shipping that I highly recommend. The tweeters have the option of either angled or surface mount. The blue led logo is a great idea, although I didn't like the idea of them being on all the time but that was easily adapted with an inline switch. This is a very high end product with a low end price.

i have been using a set of 10 yr old tsa pioneer speakers and the sound out of these speakers are clear and crisp throughout all frequencies. the tweeter handles mid range frequencies which most other $10 brands cant handle. the woofer has deep bass without much distortion when tuned correctly. all the sounds separate into the air so the music doesn't sound as compressed. other than the fact i am having issues with them now, which i think is due to my head unit. I would recommend these as an alternative to the high price infinities. I do find the LED idea kinda ricer so i didn't connect it.

I bought these after a lot of research to replace the crappy paper cone boston acoustics (premium) speakers in my 2011 Camaro. I have them fed by a power acoustik 4 channel 840 watt amp that I also bought from here and I must say that these are the best components for the money out there! The LED's look amazing and the highs are extremely loud and clear with the crossover set to 0db. I listen to a lot of rock and some other stuff and I could not be happier! I was also surprised at the amount of bass that these put out, I had Alpine type S before in my ford and Focal Access components in my old tC but these are absolutely awesome and a quarter of the price! Very easy install and a great product!

I just bought a new 2001 VW Jetta that to my dismay had four blown speakers. After buying some off of a friend, i scoured amazon for a component set for the front two doors and these kept popping up. They are very aesthetically pleasing, which definitely enticed me, but after looking up reviews and asking some audio professionals about them I decided to give them a shot. They perform as well if not better than they promise. They have amazing sound, albeit the low bass is somewhat weak. If paired with a smaller subwoofer the range would be PERFECT. But the highs are tight and crisp, and the option of the + or - 3db for the tweeter on the crossover makes them more customizable to each individual installation criteria. They have great range, full power even with some very difficult songs, and the mid range bass is mind-blowingly good. As long as they have a decent, sealed mount or enclosure the low frequencies sound lovely. They come with all the installation hardware you need, and the instructions are simple to understand. The led glowing dust cap is a really cool feature too!!! Adds a little style. Although these may not be as good as some $150 or $200 component systems, for the price they are incredible. I would say comparable to some of the $90-$125 range systems from the bigger companies like JL, Alpine, or Infinity. If youre on a budget and looking for great sound, these are the speakers for you.

Bought this set for my husband for Christmas and he loves them! Installation was a little more complicated than we anticipated with the different routers/tweeters, but sound quality is excellent!

Was not sure how these would sound, they are powered from my 80w max head unit. These have far and above blown my expectations away. For the money I spent, these are the best bang for the buck car audio speaker that I have ever owned. Installed them in my front doors, and some infinity 2 way in the rear door(did not want to have to mount seperate tweeter in rear door, front already equipped).

These are great speakers for the price, these are some what of a downgrade from my Polk momo componet speakers. But the speakers I had were almost 200 dollars for the pair. Where I got 2 pairs for just over 100 bucks. Def get your moneys worth. Sometimes I feel like the speakers cant handle too much bass, but other then that I am happy with the sound.

well these speakers were great so far. im gonna hook up the 6 by 5 with an amp and see what happens but we will see. the tweeters were ok but where not the best quality for the price. they screatch out at a certian point so those were a bummer but the rest of the packedge is outstanding.
