Please, more landscapes and fewer buildings!
Mr. Heinl's photographic technique is flawless. The images are perfectly exposed and razor sharp. The awesome landscape that is the Canadian Rockies is an ideal subject for expert aerial photography. Unfortunately, the true majesty of the mountains seems to take a back seat to human activity. For every image of Mount Robson or Maligne Lake, we get two or three of...

Mr. Heinl's photographic technique is flawless. The images are perfectly exposed and razor sharp.The awesome landscape that is the Canadian Rockies is an ideal subject for expert aerial photography. Unfortunately, the true majesty of the mountains seems to take a back seat to human activity. For every image of Mount Robson or Maligne Lake, we get two or three of the buildings atop Sulfur Mountain or the Jasper Park Lodge golf courses. A book of this type dedicated more to the backcountry would be magnificent.
