This is a very comfortable kayak seat. Fit my Wilderness Systems Kayak perfectly. Far superior to the factory seat. Easy to install, if you use the screw clips, be very careful when drilling!

I love this seat, I had back surgery and needed comfort and support and I get both with this seat. Very comfortable for long trips in the kayak. Fits well and has many straps so it is very versitile.

I had trouble with sciatica and my left leg going numb after paddling for more than half an hour before; after installing this cushion, I don't have numbness until about three hours of paddling. (I have used it for about 25 hours now). Really revolutionized my paddling experience--so much more enjoyable now. I definitely recommend this to anyone who kayaks for more than an hour at a time, and especially to anyone who is afflicted with sciatica.

Great product, I paddle a 10' river runner and in the Southern States, typically Class 2-3 rivers, so I move a lot in the seat. Since installing the Paddle Saddle I experience little fatigue and can paddle greater distances. GREAT if you have lower back issues. Easy as pie to install. Buy it already!

This is probably a very comfortable seat if you are installing it into a fully formed seat with a back, like the photo on Amazon, in a sit-inside kayak. Although the product description seems to say it's also OK for a sit-on-top, that is not the case. There are no straps or mechanisms to provide back support. The back is also pretty short. Now I either have to return this, or go out and buy straps, hooks, etc. to be able to use it. If you have a sit-on-top kayak, I suggest you buy one of the other products on the market, with a taller back and very obvious straps that will clip onto the hooks in front of you as you sit in your kayak.

I like the feel of the seat for the kayak. However it is shown with a plastic seat to support the seat. There is no backing to the seat or a cup holder as shown. Really bummed when I opened the box. So just know that it is only the cushion part that you are buying at this price.

Received on time and in good condition. Installed easily and fits fine. I have an Equinox 124 kayak (sold by Costco)that the original seat was giving me major backaches and sore bottom. After a six mile lake paddle, using the original seat it took almost a week to recover! The Gel is thick without being to obtrusive. Picture shows a seat under the back/bottom pad, but you get just the padding itself. Two options to tie front, shoestrings or drill mount some posts in the seat area. Clips to secure the back work well with good adjustment for my kayak setup.

I bought this to relieve "fanny fatigue" and some lower back pain. It fits well on my Old Town Nantucket, which has a hard plastic seat. This is much more comfortable! I like it.

Very well made product, but butt padding could be a tiny bit thicker. Realize that this may alter center of gravity on my sit-inside kayak, but, might be worth it to get a bit more comfort and stop the numb-butt problem I experience.

I spend up to 8 hours in the kayak at a time. I searched for the perfect solution as I have an IT Band injury (back of the knee) that kept flaring up. The seat is nice as it does provide some cushion. However, don't expect miracles, it is not a cushy ride that takes away the discomfort of sitting for extended periods. You should see benefit with tours of only a couple of hours and I am happy to have it.
