Chances are great that if you enjoyed the first Niacin CD, that you'll like this one as well. I find that 'High Bias' leans a bit more towards jazz than the first CD does, though. People will no doubt be interested in hearing their take on Weather Report's 'Birdland'. Do check out this excellent jazz-rock power trio's sound clips! They sound like a futuristic jazzy instrumental version of Emerson, Lake and Palmer.

Not Quite up to their high standards,

This one falls a bit short for me. I agree this is a jazzier disc, more than their first one, but it is also much mellower and less adventurous as well. They would correct this with subsequent releases, such as Time Crunch and Organik, both of which are first rate. If you're new to the group, start with those 2 cd's, or their excellent self titled first disc.

VERY HIGH BIAS,

What a killer trio. Sheehan shows the fusion world that he has what it takes. Great version of Birdland. A very High Energy disc. Worth more than what it is sold for. This disc also makes a great gift.
