Some sick punchlines!,
By Jay (rotterdam) - See all my reviews

At last Copywrite, a talented MC from Columbus and member of the supergroup the Weatherman drops his first solo-effort. Circulating through the underground for a while on tracks by the Smud Peddlers, Cage and his click Mhz delivered this guy a reputation on dropping ill oneliners and that's what he does on this album. There's too many to mention but "I leave you in the middle of nowhere like the letter H" is just a fly example. Productionwise the album is on point with productions from Mighty Mi, RJD2 and Copywrite himself and guestappearances from Jakki the Motamouth and Camu Tao complete the cipher. Buy this album if you like battleraps from a higher caliber.

If you like hip-hop buy this right now,
By Scott Bakula (Hell) - See all my reviews

One of the hottest underground hop-hop LPs out. RJD2 production and guest spots from Camu Tao, Jakki da motamouth, and Smut Peddlers (Cage and Mr. Eon). Pretty much every beat is ridiculous and the rhymes are so tight you'll be rewinding that sh*t over and over. Columbus has been putting out some of the tightest underground MCs in recent times and copywrite just might me the best.

Who wants to battle?!,
This review is from: High Exhaulted (Audio CD)
This has to be one of the most slept on joints to hit the rap scene this year. Anyone who is down with the underground hip-hop scene will have no doubt heard of Copywrite and his performances on various Eastern Conference recordings and in the true rap supergroup, The Weathermen. Well, the time has come for Copywrite to drop his solo debut, and he does not disappoint. The most important thing to remember when buying this album is what Copywrite does best, and that is spit wicked lyrics in true battle rhyme style. Do not expect some crazy experimental hip-hop or political rap, because you will not find it here. With that in mind, you can truly appreciate that Copywrite is master of his craft, along with the likes of say, Canibus and Chino XL. Coupled with production from some of the illest DJs out there today like RJD2 and Mighty Mi, then you have a classic that will keep you both hitting reverse to hear what he just said again and your head nodding. Do not hesitate about this CD and pick it up today. It will surely become part of your heavy rotation. I guarantee it!
