Judging by the description, I thought this book would have a step by step (or layer by layer, if you will) guide of the fashion of the time period. Instead this is a very basic book of the types of accessories/outerwear worn. It seems to be made for a child and includes portions of the book which are meant to be cut out and traced elsewhere. Not for the serious researcher - even at a basic level. However, if you are interested in getting a 5 minute understanding of Stuart fashion, this book is for you.
