The photo for this chess board does NOT represent the actual beauty of this product..This board is absolutely beautiful!! The board is 20" x 20" x 3-5/8".. A storage drawer on each side for 8 big and 8 small chess pieces. the dimensions are: 4-7/8"L x 1-7/8"W x 1-1/2"D for the large chess pieces, 3-3/4"L x 1-7/8"W x1-1/2"D for the small pieces. The squares are actually 2-1/8" (2.125") This board is SOOOO Pretty!!! Here are some curiosities: Amazon, sells this for $138.99 + $10.53 shipping (funkykids), Amazon sells this for $149.97 + $15.99 shipping (cyber-deals).. Funkykids.com sell this same item from their website for $122.99 + $13.95 (UPS Ground shipping), which is where I purchased mine.. Wherever you go, it's a pretty board and a darn good purchase! |
