Murder 1 "On High" is Sinfully Hot!!!, March 12, 2003

See the light and feel the burn of "On High". I love this band. Five raging hormonal tattooed guys riffing out like new jersey devils on speed and psilocybin make me pretty lubed. Murder 1 used to be a pretty tight porno punk metal band back in the day and the only holdovers are the two guitar players, the blissfully hot "Job" and college boy gone bad "Iceberg". These guys have really learned to "light up" but play heavier. New vocalist "Naga" sounds emo but circa 1974 kinda like John Garcia of Kyuss meets Paul Rogers. My favorite parts of this CD are the Led Sabbath shoots heroin anthem "White Horse Trail", "La Phamacisto" and "G13" as well as the Tolkien based "Helm's Deep" which could be the best sci fi hard rock epic since Clutch's "Spacegrass". If classic rock and metal get you off but want some attitude instead of Allman Brothers, get Murder 1 "On High".
