This High Noon soundtrack is outstanding. My favorite part is track #4 when Marchall Kane and his new bride, Amy, start to ride out of town, but decide to return. It is energetic and keeps playing in my head after I've finally stopped replaying it on the the CD player. The entire CD is great. It is wonderful how many variations on on simple and memorable song, Mr. Tiomkin was able to come up with for his score.

Besides putting the wonderful music for this great western in a CD package, the liner notes finally explained the weird percussion effect backing the opening titles track.
