This is definitely one of Hank's classic albums and one of his hardest rocking albums. The pace slows occasionally, particularly on I can't change my tune, I've been down (two reflective ballads) and Norwegian wood (a cover of the Beatles classic). Ain't making no headlines is an excellent mid-tempo song.

The album includes two songs in praise of the south (If heaven ain't a lot like Dixie, The south's gonna rattle again), both of which rock hard. Whiskey on ice, another great rocker, contains the memorable line "I like my whiskey on ice and my women on fire". The other rockers here, all of a high quality, are High and pressurized, If you wanna get to heaven and a cover of one of his father's songs, Honky tonkin'.

So there is nothing really new here compared to previous albums. It includes the type of songs and the style of music that we've come to expect - but the songs, whether covers or originals, are brilliant. Hank recorded many classic albums in the eighties and a few before that, but this is among my favorites.

This is not my favorite true but i still love this album very much, i love to play it at night as i drift off to sleep and i must have played it for over a month every night :). Fans of Hank will find this a must buy and the price can't be beat and makes this a must buy for all hank fans.

In these days of "New Country" it's refreshing to have an artist the calibre of Hank Williams, Jr. This album, as well as his numerous others, holds true to the genre. "High Notes" is one of Hanks best.

If you're really looking for good ole Hank, I recommend Hank Williams Jr and friends.

I HIGHLY RECOMEND ''WHISKEY ON ICE'' ''I'VE BEEN DOWN''''IF THE SOUTH WOULDA WON''AND ''HIGH AND PRESSURIZED''.I AM ONLY 24 BUT I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO HANK SINCE I WAS ABOUT 10 OR 11 AND THIS CD HAS BEEN PLAYED SO MANY TIMES I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE IT 3 DIFFERENT TIMES.HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

Yet Another great Album I gladly put in my collection of HANK WILLIAMS JR. I am very glad I bought it. and plan on buying more of Hank's music.

I was more than pleased with this purchase, I certainly got it for a real bargain. It was for my sister, and after almost a month she is still thanking me for finding it on Amazon. Almost every three weeks she gives me a list of names for me to look up for her on Amazon. Very Happy
