The zipper and some other parts of the hardware are breaking after about 15 uses in 1 year. It has withstood some nasty weather. It is a decent tent for the price but it won't last too long. Most 4 season tent are $400+ this one only cost $150 but is not as good of quality. I guess you get what you pay for.

This tent is bulky yet light, great for frame packs. One of the two vestibules was large enough for me to install a stove boot and fit it with a stove for warmth. The only drawback was the bottom of the sleep quarters being made of nylon, a bit flimsy if you use a cot. This is a very nice 4 season frame tent for two people with gear.

My brother and I took this on a 4 day Kayak trip on the Wisconsin river, by Boscobel, WI. ALL our gear was in our low end kayaks from Dick's Sporting Goods, so we had to pack smart and efficient. This tent packed well! The bag had enough room to add extra stakes, guy lines, and a tarp. Set up was simple; would be easy to do in low light if had to. Like others have said, I was surprised the bottom wasn't made of the same tarp material, but since I don't move around like a caveman, I don't foresee this being an issue. It drys after morning dew quickly, and the vestibule flaps open for decent air flow. One thing with the guy lines, since there is so many, it can be come a mess to pack up. I use twist ties for each on to help organize it a little better. The poles are light and seem sturdy. They have this little elastic rope that runs through them to help keep them taught, and also helps guide them in place as you are snapping them together, as well as when you are folding them up. This tent packs quickly as this was important as we were kayaking about 10 miles a day to new locations along the river. I had one interaction regarding the customer service and it was great. This is a small family run company. I prefer to support them anyway :)

All in all for a sub $300.00 I couldn't find much to complain about. Quality and ease of use seemed to be there, seams and zippers seem to be solid. One camper said it looked I was ready for a snow storm in October. My only reply was, "looks like you're not." :)

Very well made. Stood up to a bad windy thunderstorm. The storm bent the front foyer pole and a couple of the tent stakes but it held up fine. Not a drop of water inside the tent. The slightly bent pole and stakes were easy to straighten back out. Nice and roomy. My wife and I slept on a queen size air mattress. There was still some room for our clothes, shoes, etc. Well worth the money. We expect to get years of service out of this tent.
