Yet that is just want John Parrillo wants you to do in your quest to get bigger and leaner. I've owned many copies of this book over the years, and it's one that I return to consistently. You will see that many nutrition and coaches today advocating increasing calories and activity to fire up your metabolism, in short, you will be eating a lot and exercising a lot. That's nothing new, John was advocating it back in the late 80's and early 90's. Morning fasted state cardio? Yup, John had us pounding the pavement back when Haney was still Mr. O! Advanced stretching techniques to force your muscles to accomodate size increases? Yes siree, John Parrillo was already there.

Although this book could have been way more detailed and contained less photos, it's a good primer for his systems available on his website. This was relevant then, and it's a great book to add to your collection now. There are other better books about getting into contest condition, but this one is a classic.

This book is great! I mean you can learn so much from this book even with diet. Seller is great super fast, and book was like new!

Awesome book although some of the info is somewhat dated. Great section on fascia stretching for size. Parillo is one of the pioneers in the world of bodybuilding.

John Parrillo is a visionary who has been setting the world of bodybuilding on its ear for a decade. Parrillo poses not just theories, but facts that he has obviously proven time and again with the many physiques he has improved. A must read for anyone serious about changing their physique.

This book Has lots of information not only on Food and Supplements, but it also explains how to use MCT oil as a FAT-FREE source of calories! There is also plenty of information on lifting and streching techniques! A must for all who want maximum Gains.

While some of the processes of the book may seem dated, Parrillo certainly gets results for those that chose to follow his advice. I say use the info and follow up on his web site to see how he has tweaked the philosophies in the book to fit current research and training protocols.
