High Quality Battery for HP Pavilion

This battery did not fit the computer easily. In fact it was a hair too big, but it did work. Did not allow for the locking feature of the computer to keep the battery in place. Does have a longer life than the original battery that came with the computer. I would not purchase again simply because it is not a perfect fit for the computer.

This battery died already and it go jammed in my husbands computer and it broke the slide lock trying to get it out. Now we have to replace entire back panel and new battery.

Well, I just threw away $55 literally. The battery I received lasted less than one month and stopped working. Would not charge, showed 50% charge level, and turned the computer off when unplugged. This happened during download of numerous videos simultaneously and the processor was hot. This was never a problem for my original battery but the replacement batter I bought just stopped working. I complained through Amazon and the company sent me a replacement which lasted two weeks. Again, the battery stopped working after the processor ran hot. The original battery was put back in and never stopped working but both replacements failed in short time. This company should be out of business for selling original replacement batteries that can't support original equipment processes. I'm just a normal computer user, not a geek, and not a super user. This battery is just not close to equal to a factory replacement.

Will not hold a charge for an hour. Usually lasts for about 45 minutes. I do not leave it plugged in all the time. I unplug it when fully charged and let It get down to 10% before I recharge it. Can not use it anywhere that I do not have access to an outlet. I have a feeling this was not a new battery.

Why did I buy this? It doesn't hold a charge any better than my dead battery did. Essentially my laptop has become a low-quality desktop I can carry in my bookbag, but I still need an outlet before I can even open the screen.

It fit into my computer just fine but it stopped being able to take a charge within months of use. :(
